This article is pure necessity to women (and men)alike, but particularly teen girls as they go through puberty, women in perimenopause/menopause, post baby mommies, and those with any feminine struggles, depression, anxiety, skin issues, extra belly weight....so basically all women!
With the posting of this article, we decided it was time to share some of DrFoodie's hormonally honoring healing recipes.
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Flaxberry jam. Add it to toast with sunbutter, or a gluten free bagel, or eat it with yogurt. It's flexible! Just like your ligaments will be as your body consumes more of it!

1/2 C flaxseed, pre ground is best
1/2 C. dried berries (cherries, pomegranate, white raisins, pineapple, mango) Usually a blend is best
1/4 C coconut oil
Pulverize together in a blender. I have a NInja and a Vitamix, so I usually don't use much coconut oil, but you may need to adjust to more or less if you have a less powerful blender.
Spread on toast, gluten free bagel, or eat with yogurt. You can mix peanut butter, sunbutter, or nuts in with it during pulverizing too for an instant PB and J!
