The Only Juice Recipe You'll Ever Need

 

The arguments for juicing are ENDLESS!  The benefits carry on for miles!  It's true, juicing is one of the most expansive, all inclusive ways one can regain a sense of health in the overall systems in the body. The question has always been "What do I juice?"

So I'm sharing today my favorite recipe, the ONE and ONLY recipe you will ever need for complete body reset, in my opinion, it combines the best foods for the functioning of rebalance that we are looking for.

 

DrFoodie Juice

3 stalks carrots, washed, stalks can be included

3 stalks celery, all parts of stalk included

1 lemon cut in half

1 bunch parsley, (it really is just a few "branches" of parsley. It would look like 3 stems)

1 cucumber

2 stems cilantro (can adjust to less, especially in the beginning)

 

Super easy!  Just add them bit by bit into the juicer shoot with the setting on low.  I wouldn't go any less in quality than  a Breville Juicer.  Once all the juice is pressed out, I see if I can squeeze any more from the pulp.  I add a bit of water to taste and pour over ice.  Be mindful to drink it immediately to retain as much nutrient and enzyme action.  Within 30 minutes is best.  

A quick tip:  I do the carrots first, and then remove the pulp from the collection bin.  I store or freeze this as it is easy to add to Ginger Glazed Pumpkin Bars (In my glazed bars, the addition of 1/2 cup carrot pulp can be added without changing the rest of the recipe) or carrot bars, carrot cake or soups.  One could store and freeze each of the pulps individually and use them in various dishes.
